On The Waterfront was actually pretty good, as far I remember. Shown in the summer of 1988 on BBC One it featured Andrew O’Connor who went on to become the Executive Producer behind Peep Show and many Derren Brown shows.
Why I remembered it today I’m not sure, but the theme tune seems to get stuck in my head on a regular basis.
